2011!

Image
2011 has arrived! A new year, it's time to face book but not facebook anymore. Haihs, now I'm form 4 already, I'm so doubtful about my form 4 life. Will it be stressful?sad?busy?amazing? or maybe just normal? Nevertheless, I wanna share my new year resolutions with you all. So what's the resolution limit? 5, okay? :D 1) Build up my chops! (drumming muscles) have to practice very hard everyday! 2) Well of course, do well in my studies :D 3) Manage my time well between God and my busy life. 4) Closer relationship with everyone. 5) Siamyth. Well have to get my dad's permission first! don't even dare to ask him because afraid of being scold. Hope that he understands and knows what do I think!! Mhm! Our band organized our own Christmas night at Boulevard Hotel Restaurant on the 28th of Dec last year. Was, somehow fun? and somehow lame and bored (just being honest!!). Ah Yie and me had an unplanned duet that night as Eric Tan requested for it. Rocked, alth...

Lol, look at my snare's bottom drumhead , it was broken long time ago, probably around 3 months already, but I didn't care about it until yesterday, I just removed the drumhead and replace with a unbroken one( transparent one, the sound quality sucks but no choice, rather than using the broken drumhead which will sound worse a lot more). introducing you the Evans bottom head! good one :D Aha! here comes the main point. My PMR results was announced today, I've gotten 7A's, and 1B which is Bahasa Melayu subject. Gahh, I'm not really sad though, cause I have already expected this to happen as I only got 20/40 questions correct in the objective paper . Well, as long as it is not C, it's good hah. I'm just satisfied, praise God, no matter what happens right? =) 7A's, 1B(BM) Well to those who was expecting themselves to score straight A's but didn't make it, don't be sad, I know a lot of you felt that you disappointed your parents, but as...

Aha! Look what I've got here, more pictures of me during my big day! The day when I performed my snare solo in Brunei. I'm still waiting for the DVD to come out because the video of my solo is inside of it! right stick on left hand juggling!  Yesterday morning, I held a sectional with my percussion section members from 8am-12pm. I taught all my juniors to play all the auxiliary percussion instruments(tambourine, maracas, shakers etc..), followed by the drum set. Finally, there was 1 hour left, I got them sticks-ou t til the end of the sectional. Brenda, she loves posing while tapping. Chin Chian, learning! :D Finally, last night, I accompanied my dad to go to my aunt's phone shop to purchase himself a new handphone as his previous handphone went to 'laundry' in the washing machine on the previous night and died . I suggested him to buy C902 , that was the previous(2nd ) phone that I used but haplessly it(my previous phone) was stolen at the badminton court....

The tale of the Brunei Trip

Image
Me, and some of the CH band members (Ricky, Allan, Michelle, Natalie, ah Yie, Eric Rawing and Lorex) were invited to perform in MOTH 3 concert in Brunei. We have been practicing regularly, and finally we departed to Brunei on the 1st of December. The actual concert date was on the 4th of Dec, we went there earlier as we have to polish up the music and attend the rehearsals. And we were back on the 5th of Dec. The pictures below are the evidences of us practicing =P cut the person at the right =) *the reason I say cut is that they didn't perform with us after all. our group's leader, Lick'y da Ricky! Allan at the left, and sorry have to say that cut the person at the right there too -o- Jong, we're on Earth! mmhmm~ cut the 2 person at the left ^^ Here's a little tale of the journey. On the first day, everyone was wearing long pants and shoes, except me, ah Yie and Allan who were being too clever >.<. Everything was alright, until we reached RTB Dewan Raya...

Uh huh!! My order from Offworld Percussion has arrived! It's a V3 invader drum pad!! It's so cool to play on, I bought it because I've seen a lot of Blue Devils snare drummers were using this pad too! Shall I upload a video of I playing on the pad? hehehe!! tasty!!!! great service Did you see a small bottle of liquid in the box? It's a liquid that I have to apply it on the pad to keep its quality good. Still curiou s about it? Buy it! Well I'm gonna be away from tomorrow until next Monday for the band camp. Take care, readers!  And thanks for reading! =D

I smell it!

Image
Mushrooms, can you smell it? I can smell it though, not beside you or me, but it's in front of you and me, in the web page you are reading or viewing! I have been drumming and playing online games recently. Almost forgotten my this lovely and precious bloggy! Anyway, I'm here to sweep all the mushrooms away from my bloggy now. Well, as I said, I drummed a lot nowadays, A LOT! You will understand after looking at the photo below. =) This is my right hand's finger. I don't know why does it still hurt as I've hurt that part of my finger before . The condition in the picture above was about 1 week ago though, now it is fully recovered, looks like normal finger now. I hope I will have a pair of "special skin hands" though, so that I will never get hurt of my hand in the future no matter how hard I drum. =) ____________ I've called upon my Percussion juniors to stay back until 4:30pm to have a sectional with them last Friday. There were like aro...

Aloe vera!

Image
Look! After nagging my mom for several months, she had finally dug her spare time out to cook aloe vera water for me! It requires a very long time to clean and wash the sticky juice of the pure aloe vera. Anyway, finally, I could drink and eat it again! I'm happy! =D Count your blessings, readers! :D
