Spain trip

On 13/4/2009, our school brass band went to Murcia, Spain for a competition.. Arrived Madrid in 2 days, very tired on the plane.. Then waited for our luggage.. me and some band members' luggage were lost.. Then Puan Soh told the British Airways officer to solve it.. Then we took bus to Murcia from Madrid for about 5 hours.. Then we reached there at night, checked in hotel, went for dinner.. Every single meals of us was buffet, many of us dunno how to eat the food on the first day, tasted so weird, but after few days, we started to enjoy it..

Competition and performance for 4 days.. We walked parade for very very long distance, very tired.. Crowds surrounded us, thousands of them.. On last day, we walked 8km parade, very very tired, Rodrick's leg was hurt due to overtired.. MILLIONS of people watching us.. And finally, we won..THE HERCULES AWARD!! We were very tired on that day, but very excited!! Yep, we did not dissapoint Tan Sri Ting and our school..

Just back from Murcia.. Dr. Chan, Tan Sri Ting and many other people went to the airport to welcome us back.. Tan Sri Ting were so excited haha.. We took photos with the Hercules Award and other awards that gotten in Italy.. Then we went back to the place where we take our luggage and musical instruments to get them.. Lastly, dismissed..

Promises.

I'm a person who takes promises seriously, that I will always keep the promises I made to people, because I really don't like it when people break promises. I used to be extremely mindful of people who break their promises to me. I would be extremely angry and sad at the same time, perhaps that was disappointment.  However, as I grow up and experience more things in life, I became not that mindful about people breaking their promises anymore. Go Fast or Go Far?

There’s a saying, “If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.” Most people knew that I bought a car with my own money, and will be paying the monthly installments by myself. Being able to buy my first car was the first big milestone in my life. There were many reasons that led to this day, but the main root was that I could not stand being poor anymore. I’m not saying that I’m from a poor family, and I didn’t say I was born in the purple as well, but that I myself, my own bank account was nearly empty, and it was always like that.  Some people asked, “Don’t your parents give your pocket money?”  They did, but not monthly, probably once in every three months when I really had no money til I had to ask from them. Gifts from YH

Last week Yung Heng and his family went to KL for a vacation.. They came back on last Wednesday.. And guess what, he bought something for me from KL hehe.. And the gifts were a rubiks cube keychain and a little bun to hang it on handphone(too bad my handphone don't have the hanging place :/).. Felt so happy and I just want to say thank you to him again.. It's hard to find a true best friend =)
